Drevers are great hunting dogs.  In Scandanavia they are used mainly for hunting hares & in Sweden they also hunt deer. 

They hunt by tracking then driving the game towards the hunter.  They are tough hunting dogs, since the main hunting season in Scandanavia is in the cold Nordic winter.

Our drevers have had limited hunting & our male shows an exceptional natural instinct for hunting.  Our female is still young & we hope to develop this in her as well.  Jeffrey has also been bird hunting & flushes the birds.
